Total volumes increased by 9.7 percent, with the growth driven by the company's Far Eastern, notably Chinese markets.
Thus the increase in the Asian traffic was 15.9 percent, while in contrast the volume in European traffic decreased by 3.0 percent.
In the North-Atlantic traffic, the cargo volume increased by 3.3 percent.
Finnair Cargo's strategy of cooperating with other companies providing capacity was again proved as the company's cargo traffic on chartered cargo flights increased by 41.6 percent.
Finnair Cargo's overall load factor was 59.0 percent. The cargo load factor in the Far Eastern traffic was 71.8 percent, and in the North Atlantic traffic 70.3 percent.
