JUL 07, 2005 (newstodate): Although we do not have own negative experience with Lithuanian GSAs we still move cautiously when selecting GSAs to receive our business, says Linas Saltenis, Litgina head of airfreight.
-We are very aware of the indications that certain cargo GSA may find problems with defining their borderlines against certain freight forwarders and do feel a strong need for a general upgrading of the air cargo business in this market.
-It is of course intolerable that sensitive info from our manifests or H-AWBs should be shared by competitors, and the Lithuanian freight forwarding industry needs to find ways to start a cleaning process that would bring generally accepted and established normal business conduct by GSAs to Lithuania, says Mr Saltenis.
