JUL 04, 2005 (newstodate): Hungary is foreseeing a succesful outcome of the tender for Budapest Ferihegy Airport, and the results of the qualification period are expected by July 12.
In addition to the three parties that were known to place bids, including Copenhagen Airport, Fraport and the British CAA, nine others have now been officially named.
These include the Spanish Ferrovial Aeropuertos, Hochtief, the British Terra Firma Investment, Corporacion America, the Australian Macquarie Airports, a consortium comprising Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Spain's Abertis, Aena Internacional and TBI, Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo, the Turkish TAV Tepe-Akfen-Vie, and Aeroporto di Venezia.
The Hungarian state will accept bids for 75 percent of the shares while retaining full ownership of airport property and infrastructure.
