JUL 01, 2005 (newstodate): Finnair has won a contract for component and APU maintenance on Gemini Air Cargo's four Boeing MD-11 and seven DC-10-30 Cargo aircraft.
The contract, worth in excess of eight million euro, was formerly with Alitalia.
The contract for the DC-10 aircraft
covers five and for the MD-11 aircraft seven years.
Finnair Technical Services generates an annual turonver around 200 million euro turnover, one-third of which derives from maintenance contracts with third-party customers including Aeroflot, Martinair and World Airways.
