JUN 22, 2005 (newstodate): The planned privatisation of Prague Ruzyne Airport has been postponed.
Originally slated for this year, plans are now to initiate the IPO process after next year's election.
Prague Ruzyne Airport is the fastest growing airport in former East Europe, and in the top league of European airports as well, measured in terms of passenger volume growth.
The airport is, however, doing less well in air cargo as especially Vienna Airport is a strong competitor in the Czech market.
