JUN 27, 2005 (newstodate): Air cargo exports from the Nordic markets to Africa will grow by 39.8 percent during 2004-2010, a Lufthansa Cargo forecast says.
In 2004 the four Nordic markets exported a total of 13,831 tonnes of air cargo to Africa, and this will grow to a total of 19,332 tonnes in 2010.
In 2004 Denmark exported 5,017 tonnes of airfreight to Africa, and the annual growth rate is estimated to 4.8 percent.
Sweden exported 5,155 tonnes of airfreight to Africa, and the annual growth rate is estimated to 6.3 percent.
Norway exported 1,270 tonnes of airfreight to Africa, and the annual growth rate is estimated to 5.9 percent.
Finland exported 2,389 tonnes of airfreight to Africa, and the annual growth rate is estimated to 6.4 percent during the period.
