JUN 28, 2005 (newstodate): With effect from June 20, Balti Transport has launched a new service from Malmo, Sweden to the Baltic States.
-The new twice-weekly service from Malmo is offered additionally to a five times weekly service from Stockholm Arlanda that has been operated for five years already, says Kaido Mand, Balti Transport chief of operations.
-The network is not only covering the Baltics but also allows airlines to truck their shipments forward to Ukraine, Belorussia and even to Kaliningrad, he says.
Balti Transport, member of Deutche Bahn group, was establised in 1992 and provides airline customers with a range of services including airline trucking, and ramp handling and warehouse facilities at Tallinn Airport, Estonia.
