JUN 30, 2005 (newstodate): Maersk Air Cargo will be comprised by the take-over of Maersk Air by Icelandic-owned Sterling.
-Maersk Air Cargo is comprised by the contract to acquire Maersk Air, while the Maersk subsidiary Star Air, operating freighter aircraft, will remain with A P Moller, says Almar Orn Hilmarsson, Sterling CEO.
Maersk Air Cargo sells capacity on Maersk Air's aircraft, and also provides cargo GSA services to a range of airlines.
As of today, sales of cargo capacity on Sterling's aircraft have been provided by ProActive Airline Services under a GSA contract.
