JUN 17, 2005 (newstodate): Effective from July 1, Lufthansa Cargo will add the Danish air cargo market to the services of its call center in Hahn.
The Norwegian market has already been connected to the call center, and Sweden is expected to be added just after the summer break.
-With the services of the Hahn call center we can offer customers in the Scandinavian market enhanced phone and fax access to bookings and reservations of shipments up to 100 kg that are in most cases little demanding in procedures and special requirements, says Michael Schoop, Lufthansa Cargo Denmark country manager.
-By channeling these processes to the call center in Hahn, the Lufthansa Cargo staff in Denmark, Norway and Sweden can instead devote more resources to dealing with larger, more complex or demanding shipments where direct communication and individual carrier-customer communication makes a difference, says Mr Schoop.
The individual countries will be informed via direct mail and personal information in due time, he says.
