JUN 07, 2005 (newstodate): The two Bulgarian airport, Varna and Burgas on the Black Sea coast are seeing traffic building up this summer.
Bulgarian carrier Hemus Air has launched a new thrice-weekly route from Sofia to Bourgas from this week, and Malev will also fly in from Budapest as from June 6.
Also from June 6, Bulgaria Air has added a new route from Varna to Amsterdam once a week with Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
Other routes from Varna by Bulgaria Air includes flights to Vienna and Frankfurt, and the carrier has upped frequency on its existing route between Varna and London.
Copenhagen Airports recently won the tender for operating concessions of the two airports.
