JUN 27, 2005 (newstodate): Hungarian low cost carrier WIZZ Air, now entering the Bulgarian market, has high ambitions.
As the first budget airline to operate in Bulgaria, WIZZ Air says it plans to become the country's largest airline by 2007 or 2008.
Bulgaria's other airlines give a cool reception to WIZZ Air that will start thrice weekly operations from September 18, but the decision to allow the Hungarian carrier confirms Bulgaria's intentions of opening up its air transportation market by subscribing to the EU Open Skies traty from this year already.
Together with Romania, Bulgaria aims at obtaining full EU membership from 2007.
