JUN 01, 2005 (newstodate): The position as Cargolux VP cargo handling has become vacant as the company has named Henrik Ambak new head of IT.
Cargolux split off its IT department last year, transferring staff, hardware and software into a joint venture with SITA, and the newly appointed head of IT will now take responsibility for demand management, company-wide process alignment, and purchase management of IT services.
Henrik Ambak will continue as Cargolux "acting head of ground services" till the appointment of his successor in this office, while the regulatory post relating to JAR-OPS Ground Operations are transferred to Robert van de Weg, Cargolux SVP Sales & Marketing.
