New customer is Shanghai Airlines that will receive a batch of nine Boeing 787 from 2008.
More orders have also been landed from Ethiopian Airlines that has raised its earlier total from five to ten aircraft.
These latest orders will bring Boeing's total for the Dreamliner to 269, against a mere 10 orders for the Airbus competitor, A350.
