JUN 20, 2005 (newstodate): Denmark's airfreight export will grow by 4.9 percent annually during 2004-2010, says a recent Lufthansa Cargo study.
In 2004, Denmark generated a total of 78,348 tonnes of export air cargo, increasing to 104,508 tonnes by 2010.
In 2004 Asia/Pacific was Denmark's single largest market with 30,614 tonnes, or 39.1 percent, increasing by 2010 to 43.021 tonnes, or 41 percent, after an annual growth at 5.8 percent.
In 2004 North America was Denmark's second largest market with 20,458 tonnes, or 26.1 percent, increasing by 2010 to 25,820 tonnes, or 24.7 percent, after an annual growth at 4.0 percent.
European cargo, at 15,373 tonnes/19.6 percent in 2004 will grow to a modest total of 19,461 tonnes/18.5 tonnes in 2010 after an annual gowth at 4.0 percent.
