JUN 14, 2005 (newstodate): Bulgarian cargo GSA, Airswift has expanded its cooperation with Hungarian carrier Malev to include cargo sales on the new routes between Bourgas, Varna and Budapest.
The new routes were opened on June 11, and are operated twice weekly to Bourgas, and five times weekly to Varna with Malev's Boeing 737, Fokker 70 or Bombardier regional jets.
-Malev was our launch customer in 1998, and we are happy to share with them their expansion in the Bulgarian market that also includes a route between Sofia and Budapest served thrice-weekly, says Christina Dimitrova, Airswift general manager.
At Varna, Airswift also serves airline principals Thomson Fly and TUI, and at Bourgas Thomson Fly, TUI and El Al.
