JUN 30, 2005 (newstodate): After its failure in the bid for Lithuanian Airlines, Lithuanian company Arijus will pull out from airline business entirely.
-One year ago we bought the shares of Air Lithuania, but this was considered only the first step towards building up a major airline in Lithuania, says Andzija Butvydiene, Arijis PR and advertising manager.
-As we failed in the tender for Lithuanian Airlines, we have decided to sell our stake in Air Lithuania back to the company where the shares have been taken by Naglis Vysniauskas, Air Lithuania director general.
