JUN 15, 2005 (newstodate): Meeting on June 2, the Aeroflot Board of Directors has decided to comporatise a number of departments, including air cargo.
Alongside other activities including charter business, regional companies and handling activities, air cargo will be separated out into an independent company in the Aeroflot Group, with own management.
Also Aeroflot's passenger operations will be transferred to a new independent company in the Group.
Work will now focus on setting up an enhanced corporate legal base for the work of the new subsidiaries aiming at increasing efficiency and management capability.
