MAY 23, 2005 (newstodate): Russian carrier Vladivostok Avia has taken delivery of its first TU-204-300 aircraft built by Aviastar.
The aircraft, the first of a batch of four ordered, will be introduced on the airline's route to Moscow.
Eventually, Vladivostok Avia will replace its entire fleet of TU-154 with TU-204-300 aircraft under a leasing agreement with Ilyushin Finance Company.
From February 1, 2005, the carrier relocated its Moscow operations from Moscow Shemeretyevo to Vnukovo Airport.
