MAY 26, 2005 (newstodate): SAS Cargo reports a sound rise in profits during this year's Q1.
The company booked profits at five million Swedish Kroner against minus 12 in last year's Q1, based on unchanged revenues, 714 million Swedish Kroner.
The companys says increased capacity on its intercontinental routes had a positive impact, while the unfavorable dollar rate pulled negatively.
This also reflected in a weakening cargo yield, down from 2.12 to 1.92 Swedish Kroner y-o-y during January-March, 2005.
