MAY 04, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish manufacturer of airport equipment, Safegate has further bolstered its position in the Turkish market through a recent order for 16 visual docking guidance systems.
The systems will be installed at the new terminal at Antalya Airport under a contract awarded by Celebi.
This brings the total number of Safedock systems to 32 at Antalya Airport, owned 50 percent by Fraport.
The latest delivery to a Turkish airport follows earlier installations of 18 systems to Istanbul International Airport in 1999 followed by four additional systems installed as part of last years terminal expansion in Istanbul, and the original 16 Safedock systems installed at Antalya in 1998.
