MAY 27, 2005 (newstodate): From June 2, 2005, Lithuanian Airlines will launch direct scheduled flights to St. Petersburg.
The route, operated with SAAB-2000 aircraft, wil be served with three weekly flights from Vilnius to Pulkovo 2 Airport.
St. Petersburg will become the third Eastern European destination of LAL alongside Moscow, Russia, served 10 times weekly, and Kiev, Ukraine, served five times per week.
Lithuanian Airlines is in the process of signing a code share agreement on the new route with Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise.
