MAY 10, 2005 (newstodate): Within only a few weeks, Icelandic-owned low cost operator Sterling will decide on new longhaul flights.
So far the carrier has operated an expanding European route network and entered into cooperation with SkyEurope, Norwegian and flynordic besides manifesting interest in bidding on Lithuanian Airlines.
Sterling's longhaul plans reportedly include destinations in the USA and in the Far East.
