GF-X now expects an annualised run-rate at over one million bookings.
-Interest in electronic bookings is at an all-time high. Carriers and freight forwarders are looking for ways to streamline their business processes and make their interactions with each other more efficient, says Demetrios Zoppos, GF-X marketing director.
According to Mr Zoppos, GF-X will focus on implementing more forwarders on the host-to-host program, and delivering product enhancements for delivery throughout 2005 and 2006.
New forwarding customers joining GF-X will gain online booking access to more than 30 carriers globally and will be able to book with all additional carriers signing up with GF-X without any additional effort.
GF-X says it is confident that the host-to-host solutoin will encourage more carriers to switch to electronic bookings.
