MAY 24, 2005 (newstodate): It is a significant goal for British Airways World Cargo to grow its share of revenue-yielding premium cargo products.
-Constituting only 11 percent of our total volumes, and roughly the double in share of total revenues, our premium cargo product sales are still below industry levels and should increase significantly, says Keith Packer, BAWC Senior VP sales & marketing.
BAWC's total volumes comprise General Cargo, 55 percent, Perishables 25 percent, Premium Cargo 11 percent, and Specialised Cargo including Secure, Dangerous Goods, Mail, Human Remains, 9 percent.
