MAY 17, 2005 (newstodate): Aeroflot has signed its 24th code share agreement, preparing to cooperate with Alitalia on flights between Milan and Moscow from June 1, 2005.
The two carriers will operate four weekly flights on the route, with Aeroflot to fly A319 and �321 aircraft, and Alitalia �320 aircraft.
Aeroflot already has code share agreements with 23 airlines including Estonian Air, CSA, LOT, MALEV, Air France, Austrian Airlines, and Cathay Pacific, and sees the new deal with Alitalia as a further step towards membership of the SkyTeam alliance from later this year.
