APR 14, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish carrier SWE FLY has contracted Unitpool for outsourcing of its ULD control on the Boeing 767 operations.
SWE FLY will start operations on a new route from London Luton via Stockholm Skavsta to Lahore, Pakistan, from May 15 with its first Boeing 767-200 aircraft.
To sell and market the cargo capacity, SWE FLY has named Maersk Air Cargo its GSA in all markets.
SWE FLY is also negotiating with an unnamed party to acquire two more Boeing 767 aircraft before the end of this year when the airline plans to add Bangkok to its route network.
