APR 12, 2005 (newstodate): Ahead of its introduction of new routes from Okecie Airport, Poland, to Barcelona and Bratislava, Slovakian low cost carrier SkyEurope is at loggerheads with Polish Airports, PPL.
SkyEurope is protesting PPL's demands for additional landing fees for the carrier's evening and night operations, and this has cast shadows over the planned operations.
Earlier this year, another rift with PPL emerged as SkyEurope was denied additional slot times to accomodate its expansion at its Warsaw base. This led to SkyEurope's decision to shift capacity to Krakow instead.
