APR 28, 2005 (newstodate): Albanian carrier Albatros Airways has started operations from Tirana to a growing number of destinations.
The airline, established on November 3, 2004, has wet-leased a Fokker F100 from Montenegro Airlines, now flying from Tirana to destinations in Italy and, from June 10, to Istanbul twice weekly.
Flights to Athens, Greece, and to Pristina, Kosovo, are also in the pipeline.
