APR 19, 2005 (newstodate): The tender for renovation of Tblisi Airport, Georgia, will reportedly expire today, with the final winnder to be announced.
Originally planned to expire by March 21, the tender was prolonged in the 11th hour to due to the late arrival of new undisclosed participants.
Shortly before the official date of termination, only the German-based company Tacom Gloriya Pivden and the Georgian architect Goga Beridze had filed proposals, while a third participant, the Georgian construction firm Paladi-Palace, was reportedly still considering its participation.
