APR 20, 2005 (newstodate): Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport is preparing for major new cargo terminal construction projects.
May 17 is now scheduled to mark the start of construction on two cargo terminals for FedEx and Post Sweden, respectively.
Later this week more details on these projects will be avaiable.
-We had hoped to come to the conclusion of talks with SAS Cargo on the future location of construction of a new terminal for this company as well, but several issues still remain to be settled, says Karsten Bjarbo, LFV Stockholm Arlanda cargo manager.
The cargo terminals at Stockholm Arlanda will be financed and managed by NAP, a joint venture between Swedish CAA and Airis.
