APR 21, 2005 (newstodate): Serbia's first low-cost operator, Air Maxi plans to start operatins from June with two leased Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
From the outset Air Maxi, set up earlier this year by Serbia's largest diversified group,
Delta Holding, and lair charter operator Aviogenex, will serve domestic destinations, later adding routes to Hungary, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia.
At a later stage the carrier plans to add routes to Germany, Switzerland, France
and Scandinavia, according to its director general, Predrag Vujovic.
