APR 18, 2005 (newstodate): Schenker has embarked on an aggressive strategy to build a new scheduled distribution network in Russia.
Connections will be established between the 20 biggest cities covering the European part of Russia, plus Ural and West Siberia areas.
Between the cities of St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-na-Donu, Samara, Volgograd and Krasnodar, the operations started in early March, 2005, and Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Ufa, Saratov, Perm and Ekaterinburg will be added to the network later this year.
