APR 25, 2005 (newstodate): Russian carrier Aeroflot-Don plans to lease three Fokker F100 aircraft this year, sources say.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 10 Russian aircraft including Tu-134A, Tu-154B and Tu-154M, but needs an aircraft in the 90-100 seats segment.
The problem may be, however, that the aircraft, our of production since 1990'ies, is not certified by the Russian authorities, and may therefore require registration outside Russia.
