The carrier operates an Airbus A310 freighter on the route that calls at Milan Malpensa Airport on the return trip.
Royal Jordanian sees mainly general cargo, including perishables, pharmaceuticals, garments and ships spares as the basis for the service that connects, via Amman, to a range of Middle East destinations, including Iraq.
Athens Airport currently generates an annual total of 120,000 tonnes of air cargo.
