APR 08, 2005 (newstodate): Poland's export air cargo volumes will grow annually by 5.5 percent, according to a recent Lufthansa Cargo analysis covering the period 2004-2010.
In 2004 Poland aggregated a total of 32,633 tonnes of export air cargo, up 20.2 percent on the preceding year.
In its earlier forecast, Lufthansa Cargo predicted a 5.2 percent annual increase in the total volumes.
In 2004 Europe accounted for 54.4 percent of the total export cargo, followed by exports to North America that represented 33 percent of total volumes.
According to the forecast, European markets will grow by 4.4 percent, while the North Atlantic market will grow by 6,7 percent.
Asia/Pacific generated 2,519 tonnes of export cargo, 7,7 percent while the forecast sees an annual growth during the period at 7.5 percent.
