APR 04, 2005 (newstodate): Air cargo exports from Iceland and Greenland are expected to increase by 4.1 percent annually during the period 2004-2010, according to a recent Lufthansa Cargo analysis.
In 2004, the two markets generated a total of 19,535 tonnes of airfreight exports, expected to increase to 20,598 tonnes this year.
Europe remains the single largest export market, constituting 64 percent of total volumes, and expected to increase by four percent during 2004-2010.
North America comes next, with 34 percent, expected to increase by 4.3 percent annually over the period.
