APR 15, 2005 (newstodate): New Nordic cargo GSA provider, Proactive Airline Services has now announced its three launch customers.
From April 15, the GSA will serve Sterling European in the Danish and Swedish markets.
From May 1, Air Greenland will followtogether with Iceland Express. Both airlines will be provided in all four Nordic markets.
Sterling European was formerly served by OneXP, set up by Peter Garrett, one of the founders of the new cargo GSA.
Air Greenland was formerly provided with GSA services by ScanPartners, while Iceland Express is taken over from Kales Airline Services.
-So far we are providing our services from offices in Copenhagen, but we expect to set up own office in Sweden and, probably, Finland, within a "reasonable" period of, say, one year, says Christina Bennetzen, Proactive Airline Services assistant director.
