APR 06, 2005 (newstodate): The fledgling airline TransCaribbean Airways, headquartered at Curacao, Dutch Antilles, is now in its final stage of obtaining its AOC, and plans to be airborne by late summer, 2005.
-We are planning to utilise A340-300 aircraft to operate from Curacao and/or Sint Maarten to Amsterdam, D�sseldorf, London, Milan, Copenhagen, Madrid and Moscow, says Al Menconi

-Furthermore, utilizing the combination of A320-200 and A340-300 equipment we will fly from Curacao and/or Sint Maarten to Nashville, New Orleans, Baltimore/Washington, Montreal, Havana, Fort Lauderdale, Denver, Los Angeles, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Panama City and Kansas City, he says.
Due to the company's flight authorities, all flights are expected to be operated direct, non-stop from either Curacao or Sint Maarten.
