APR 01, 2005 (newstodate): Bulgaria's export air cargo is estimated to grow at an annual rate of 3.9 percent during 2004-2010, according to a Lufthansa Cargo analysis.
This is slightly down on last year's estimate that predicted an annual growth at 4.1 percent.
In 2004, Bulgaria's total volume of export airfreight reached 8,768 tonnes, of which 48 percent was destined for Europe.
Second in volumes came North Atlantic at 28 percent.
Growth-wise, Bulgaria's airfreight export to the Asian/Pacific markets, in 2004 ranking 3rd with 10 percent of totals, is expected to increase by 7.4 percent annually, while exports to Europe are expected to grow by three percent, and to North America by 3.9 percent annually.
