APR 14, 2005 (newstodate): Hungarian carrier Malev, that failed in its 2nd attempt at privatisation earlier this year, has not given up hope for finding foreign investors.
Rather than pursuing tenders as the only venue to a sell-off, Malev is now talking directly to potential investors, and so far 14 companies have reportedly turned up.
Hungary's privatisation company APV Rt is responsible for the transaction and is seeking suitable buyers for up to 99.95 percent of the shares in the airline.
