APR 18, 2005 (newstodate): Taking effect from May 1, low cost operator Sterling European has signed a cooperation agreement with SkyEurope.
The agreement allows the parties to sell space on their flights within a unified system, and for Sterling the immediate effect is the addition of Skyeurope's Central European route network to the carrier's own Scandinavian and South European routes.
Since February 28, Sterling has operated a route from Copenhagen to Budapest, and its current two weekly flights will now be boosted with SkyEurope's three weekly flights on the same route.
Sterling has earlied signed similar cooperation agreements with airlines Norwegian and flynordic.
