APR 05, 2005 (newstodate): Lufthansa Cargo's new Unicooler service is now available at 26 pilots stations around the world.
15 of these are European stations Amsterdam, Stockholm Arlanda, Brussels, Basle, Rome Fiumicino, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Milano, Munich, Stuttgart, Strassbourg, Tel Aviv, Vienna, Verona, and Zurich airports.
Nine pilot stations are in the Americas, including Atlanta, Boston, Buenos Aires, Washington, Mexico City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Sao Paolo, and Toronto.
In Asia, Japanese stations Osaka and Tokyo Narita have been selected as pilot stations.
The Unicooler container, operated by dry ice and heater system, is manufactured and provided by German producer DoKaSch, supplier of customized and standard air cargo equipment.
