APR 13, 2005 (newstodate): Finnair reported its cargo traffic up by 5.6 percent in volumes for March 2005.
The increase was spurred by continued growth in the Asian volumes that grew by 10.7 percent, with a load factor at 78.2 percent.
The volumes carried in European traffic dropped by 4.4 percent, while the North Atlantic traffic volumes barely managed to remain unchanged against last year at a load factor at 64.2 percent.
The carrier's over-all-cargo performancein scheduled traffic was up 3.1 percent, notably driven by the Asian routes, while cargo volumes on Finnair's freighters increased by 15.3 percent at a load factor at 58.0 percent.
