APR 13, 2005 (newstodate): Finland's export air cargo volumes are expected to increase by 5.0 percent annually during the period 2004-2010, slightly down on last year's predictions, 5.5 percent, by a Lufthansa Cargo analysis.
In 2004, Finland generated a total of62,991 tonnes of export air cargo, unchanged against 2003.
Last year's analysis predicted a total of 66,054 tonnes of air cargo in 2004, 4.6 percent higher that actual figures in the new tabulation.
In 2004, exports for Europe accounted for 34.3 percent of totals, Asia/Pacific for 26.9 percent, and North America for 24.7 percent.
The analysis expects Finland's Asia/Pacific exports to increase by 6.5 percent annually, while Europe will grow by a modest 3.5 percent, and North America by 4.1 percent.
