APR 21, 2005 (newstodate): The Danish transport and logistics company DFDS Transport has named Erik Andersen director of a new department, Global Tenders.
Taking up his assignement from April 1, Erik Andersen comes from a position as BAX Global (Denmark) director.
The new department will serve as the contact point for industry tenders and aims at attaining a higher profile for the company when global transport and logistics agreements are on offer.
The new set-up is also part of DFDS Transport's strong growth strategy aiming at an increasing position in trade with notably the Far Eastern, Chinese and Indian markets.
