APR 25, 2005 (newstodate): DFDS Transport has acquired 100 percent of the shares in German logistics provider Bachman.
Bachman is present in 11 countries, being an important provider og logistics services between Germany and the Asia/Pacific markets and in the Germany-US trade.
Bachman representations include offices in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.
Pending government approvals, the take-over will be implemented from June 1, 2005.
The acquisition will further bolster DFDS Transport's position in Germany's air and sea cargo markets alongside the acquisition of the German forwarding company, H�ring Aircargo, announced earlier today.
