APR 28, 2005 (newstodate): debis AirFinance has announced its shareholders' decision to sell their stakes to US-based company Cerberus Capital Management.
Swiss-based major European aircraft lease provider debis AirFinance is currently owned by DaimlerChrysler, Bayern LB, Dresdner Bank, DZ BANK and HypoVereinsbank.
debis has a fleet of 141 modern aircraft and holds slots for more Airbus A320 aircraft. In addition, debis manages another 108 aircraft under full-service contracts for third party owners, and provides financial and corporate services for 164 aircraft.
Among debis' airline customers are Montenegro Airlines, WIZZ Air, Jet Club, SkyEurope, Transaero, and the company also holds six percent of the shares inf the JV behind the Russian airline Ukraine International Airlines.
