APR 27, 2005 (newstodate): Bosnian carrier B&H Airlines has sent two pilots to Toulouse to bring home the first of two ATR-72 aircraft ordered.
The Sarajevo-based carrier plans to start operations by mid-May, and its second ATR-72 aircraft is expected to follow by next week, sources say.
The airline will operate on a route network comprising flights from Sarajevo to Cologne/Bonn, Istanbul, Izmir, Rome Fiumicino, Stuttgart and Zurich.
B&H Airlines is the successor of defunct airline Air Bosna that ceased operations due to heavy debts in the fall of 2003.
