MAR 22, 2005 (newstodate): The tender for the building of a new terminal at Georgia's Tblisi Airport, announced to close on March 21, was prolonged in the 11th hour.
The prolongation was reportedly due to the late arrival of new participants.
Shortly before the official date of termination, only the German-based company Tacom Gloriya Pivden and the Georgian architect Goga Beridze had filed proposals, while a third participant, the Georgian construction firm Paladi-Palace, was also reportedly sitting on the fence.
