MAR 14, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish regional carrier Skyways has acquired Luxair's last three remaining Fokker 50 aircraft as part of its fleet development plans.
Due to stagnation in the market and to cut down costs, Skyways will sell off its current fleet of SAAB 340 and Embraer 145 aircraft and operate instead a pure Fokker 50 fleet, also cutting several routes now served by SAAB and Embraer aircraft.
